Girls on the Run Central NJ
Girls on the Run International (GOTRI) is the parent organization of more than 200 Girls on the Run councils across the United States and Canada. GOTRI establishes, trains and supports a network of community-level councils with local volunteers. The volunteers serve as role models to the girls through coaching the 10-week, 20 lesson curricula. The curriculum is delivered in these areas through after-school programs, recreation centers and other non-profit settings. I am currently a Girls on the Run Program Director of Middlesex County overseeing 5,000 girls from grades 3rd-5th ✨
So grateful that Donna Dourney York and Lynn Sherman entrusted me with this role. Definitely a full circle moment as I’ve participated in the program as a young girl and coach 🫶🏽
Special thanks to Gainbridge for this grant that will provide scholarships to families who want their girls to participate in such a hollistic program no matter what background they come from 🫂 Thank you to the NY office of ESPN for being a great host to some of our NJ Girls on the Run team 🏃♀️ It’s refreshing to see authentic care for women in athletics and support mentorship in those fields.
Eager to contribute to an intentional organization that helped shaped me into the courageous young woman I am today and help ensure our girls all over the country grow as community leaders and healthy individuals ✨
Mission: We inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running.
Vision: We envision a world where every girl knows and activates her limitless potential and is free to boldly pursue her dreams.

Philadelphia Eagles Virtual Development Series
The program focuses on professional development for individuals who are interested in the business side of sports by offering career advice, resume and interview guidance, and opportunities to network directly with industry professionals. Selected participants attend live sessions led by front-office staff, where they gain insight into areas like marketing, data analytics, corporate partnerships, ticket sales, and fan engagement.
Truly grateful for all the great connections and insight regarding the organization, the NFL, and different sectors in the sports industry 💚 Eager to take what was learned on my career path with continued humility and joy!

New York University Summer Publishing Institute
Completed a part of the hashtag#classof2025 from NYU Summer Publishing Institute 📖💻🎥 Going into this I had this slight fear regarding “networking”. The term seemed so daunting. One of the many things #nyusps #nyuspi has taught me, is that networking is simply a tribe that uplifts and wants the absolute best for you ✨
Thank you so much Georgina Levitt Sharyn Rosart for jam packed days! Final Projects were absolutely stellar. Shout out to this wonderful team; it was a pleasure working with such bright minds 😊 Being apart of the editoral team within the imprint of Science Fiction/Fantasy, wasn’t a genre of too familiar with ( aside from hashtag#starwars ). Yet, my fellow teammates make it a joy to be creative and understand the business aspects that go into the publishing process of a book 📖
Thanks to New York University Summer Publishing Institute, I had the incredible opportunity to write a report on my visit to the Strand bookstore 📕 Special thanks to Walker Iversen and Kat Pongrace for the tour and insight!

Girl’s Life Magazine
Starting 2026 off write 😉✏️ Grateful to announce my spring internship with GIRLS’ LIFE magazine. Working closely with GL editorial and creative teams to help fulfill the mission of accurately informing and inspiring tween and teen girls is a blessing 💗
GL has won multiple Parents’ Choice Gold Awards and multiple The Parents’ Guide to Children’s Media Awards, hence my excitement to be a part of such a strong team this upcoming season.
Although commercialized love day is over with, this piece is very timely for our young women to start developing every day habits to stop comparing their love life with others! I hope you all enjoy the read and share with those you care about ✨

HIPSA Role Model Program
Had an amazing morning with HISPA Sharing inspiration alongside Lauren Cabrera ✨ Having conversations about being yourself and accepting rejection! Every time I speak at schools or events, it reminds me why I do the work I do. HISPA has been nothing short of a blessing. In the same way I speak with students about my story, they speak to me. Teaching me to continue to be myself and humble. So grateful to carry out with mission with other women leaders and all those who support us 💪🏽
Such a fruitful experience this past Wednesday at a middle school in Elizabeth, NJ 🏫 Special thanks to Rod Colón for this opportunity not only so the students can hopefully learn from me, but where I can also continually learn from them 🧠
I am very blessed to begin my journey as a HISPA role model teaching young children to embrace education and inspire them to follow their dreams alongside role models like Kevin Lizama, MBA
It was so special having students ask me about how I paid for college or how I got over the hardest phases in my life 🫂 We never know what our children today are facing. It’s important to have organizations whose mission in part is to teach children how to overcome adversity 🏆

Latina Voices Institute NY Event
Thank you Dr. Mary Margaret Carrillo (Doctora MMC) for your invitation to the Latina Voices Institute NY listening tour event 💜
Listening and sharing on what Latinas need in the tri-state area was truly grounding. Your expertise and research are valuable; especially how the common thread amongst multigenerational Latinas are:
💵 Familia, Funding, and Faith
I look forward to nurturing all the connections made with these new faces in mi familia and creating space for all generations to have professional confidence that comes within 🌺

Latinx In Sports Event
A heartfelt thank you to Latinx In Sports and hashtag#AlanaMeraz for creating such a meaningful space yesterday evening. And shout out to hashtag#BrooklynSportsEntertainment for being great hosts, especially the finance team 😅
One message that truly resonated was that Latinas are NOT a monolith in the sports industry 🎾 🏀
Natalia Pedroza shared how identifying your power of influence is key to showing up 100% unapologetically Latina, especially in rooms where we are not always represented. Jachele Vélez highlighted the importance of cultural competency. Both areas I am excited to grow in.
It’s inspiring to know these three women are leading in their fields and are willing to share their wisdom with the next generation. This is what partly drives a sports brand that reflects its diverse and loyal fan base, especially Latinas. The data does not lie and neither do the honest stories shared.

Babes in Business Event
On behalf on Girls on the Run Central NJ, I got to go to my first ever Babes in Buisness event 💄 🧳
It was so nice hearing from the panel of successful entrepreneurs and sharing the meaningful work of Girls on the Run Central NJ!
“Learn to pivot, not just push through” is just one of the meaningful sentiments shared yesterday evening 🌙
When seeking partnerships or implementing sites, it can feel easier to expedite the challenging parts. Yet, having a pivot mentality is what creates longstanding success beyond emotion.

Read Across America
Had the absolute pleasure of accepting the invitation to read aloud one of my favorite books of all time!
Read Across America is so special as business leaders and community role models can connect with students 🌈
What do you do with an idea? You feed it food. No matter how silly or how crazy people think you are 🥚👑 A lesson we can take no matter what our career path looks like.
